The FRAME brand at Marandino
In 2012, Erik Torstensson and Jens Grede founded the label with the aim of perfecting the traditional blue jeans. Their smart, cool cuts, which stars and celebrities were keen to embrace, ensured that FRAME quickly established itself as a cult brand for women's jeans. Since 2014, FRAME Men's has been designing equally successfully for men.
Both founders grew up in Sweden. They originally come from graphic design and fashion journalism. Their paths crossed in London. They initially founded a creative agency. Their joint fashion label FRAME is based in Los Angeles and London.

Sustainability is more than just a trend at FRAME. The FRAME founders, Erik Torstensson and Jens Grede, have placed value on sustainable and fair conditions in the production and distribution of products since the company was founded. Their motto is to buy more quality and less.
The impact on the environment is taken into account at every step of the design process. The production of denim requires enormous amounts of water. In some cases, substances are used in the dyeing process that can harm the water. This is why Marandino also has jeans made from sustainably washed premium denim in its range. For FRAME's "Au Natural" line, cotton textiles are recycled or fabrics are directly reused, so that dyeing and bleaching are no longer necessary. This saves water and energy.
One innovation is completely biodegradable jeans and garments that are made entirely from recycled materials, right down to the buttons and labels.
